The Alpha ALP250-A31 250K Audio Potentiometer has a resistance of 250 kOhms, making it suitable for guitars equipped with single coils. Potentiometers wear out over time, causing a crackling sound when you touch the volume or tone controls of your guitar. The logarithmic taper is gradual, which makes this potentiometer ideal as a volume/tone control. The Alpha ALP250-A31 250K Audio Potentiometer features a split shaft.
