Laka VUC40 Entry Level Mahogany Concert Ukulele. The Laka VUC40 is a full bodied concert ukulele and features a Sapele top, with Sapele back and sides, complemented perfectly by the mahogany headstock. Laka have unquestionably turned up trumps with the VU ’40 series’ of entry-level ukuleles. Laka have introduced some very appealing decorative and luxury features to their ’40 series’ entry level range of ukuleles. Features include attractive double line faux tortoiseshell binding and rosette, with die-cast sealed geared tuners and brown pearloid buttons by world renowned tuning pegs company Grover, which look great with the tortoiseshell binding!

The VUC40 has a Sapele top with open pore Satin finish, similar in both looks and sound to Mahogany.
