The Faith Venus Blood Moon Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar is an exciting departure from traditional woods that are usually used. Featuring highly figured ‘AAA’ grade Solid Indonesian Trembesi on top, back and sides with a gloss finish, this guitar gives a harmonically powerful tone as striking to hear as to observe. Faith Blood Moon guitars are bound with Flamed Maple and feature Macassan Ebony fingerboards, headplates, heelplates, bridges and bridge pins. This Electro model feature the Shadow NanoFlex II undersaddle pickup and Shadow Performer Tuner preamp system. All Blood Moon series Faith Guitars are complete with a Faith Hardcase.

Faith Venus Blood Moon Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar Auditorium Body

The Venus Blood Moon guitar is one of Faith’s most iconic shapes to date, and known as the ‘Auditorium’ size with 15-inch lower bout and a slimmer depth. The shape of the Faith Venus Blood Moon makes it a delight to play, and it is incredibly lightweight and comfortable to sit with for long periods of time. The cutaway shape makes chords higher up the fingerboard easily accessible without strain and stretching.

Trembesi Delivers an Unmistakable Tone

The top, sides, and back are all made from premium high-quality graded Indonesian trembesi, which gives this guitar its beautiful, unmistakable tone. Trembesi reacts in a similar way to mahogany, delivering balance and warmth across the strings.

Mahogany Neck Offers Smooth Playability

The neck is made from mahogany and finished with satin, for smooth playability and fluid hand flexibility. Mahogany is responds to picking, strumming, and various finger techniques with equal ease, and delivers a crystal clear, warm tone that sits well in any mix.

Patrick James Eggle Bracing

The bracing system used on the Venus Blood Moon guitar is called Patrick James Eggle X-brace design and is made from quarter-sawn spruce. Bracing serves two purposes, to stop the guitar from collapsing under string tension, and to shape the guitar’s sound. The Patrick James Eggle X-brace design forms an X shape that intersects just behind the sound hole, giving support and stability to your guitar, and a beautiful balanced tone.

The Faith Venus Blood Moon Cutaway Electro Acoustic comes with a built in Shadow Performer tuner and Shadow Nanoflex pickup. The tuner makes life that bit easier on stage for a quick drop in key or for quick and easy tuning in-between songs if needed. The LED screen display is clear and bright, perfect for dark stages. Control options include a phase button and volume, so you can easily change the levels to your personal preference. When plugged into an amplifier, the Faith Venus Blood Moon doesn’t lose any of its natural acoustic voice or clarity, and maintains a crisp tone. The built-in pickup accurately captures a range of dynamics, accommodating a variety of playing styles.

Patrick James Eggle & Faith

Patrick James Eggle had a major input to the design of many of the Faith family, including the Venus Blood Moon. He built his first guitar at the age of fifteen as a school project. By the time he had completed it, he was already completely dissatisfied by the outcome of his project, and decided to pull it apart and start again from scratch. This started a life long obsession which lead him to fame and has now gained an incredible reputation among collectors and players for his uncompromising quality and amazing eye for a tasteful design. His commitment to producing guitars of the highest quality tone, finish, and playability is extremely popular. Faith Guitars was created in 2002 by an exclusive group of veteran guitar specialists, led by the legend himself Patrick James Eggle. He has trained each new staff member in hand-building and hand-finishing techniques that have characterised Patrick James Eggle guitars for decades.
