Description

One of the great joys of playing any instrument is to make music with friends. The aim of The Young Violinist’s Repertoire four-book series of violin and piano duets (all of which are available from Waltons) is to provide a varied repertoire for young instrumentalists to play together.  As with Book 1, the violin parts in this book are all in first position, and the piano parts are interesting without making unreasonable technical demands. The pieces in this book are longer and a little more advanced than those in Book 1, and they are arranged in approximate chronological order.
